What is a Pomodoro timer?
A Pomodoro timer alternates a focused work interval with a break. A common starting point is 25 minutes of focus and a 5-minute break. In Pomiq, you can adjust those intervals and start the timer directly from a task.
Can I manage tasks with subtasks?
Yes. Keep a client or workstream in a project, add a task for each deliverable, and split it into subtasks for the next steps. Tasks and subtasks can carry focus estimates and recorded time, so a long list stays connected to the work you actually do.
How does Pomiq help with freelance project management?
Plan deadlines across projects in List, Schedule or Timeline. Put work waiting on feedback On Hold, share progress through a browser link, and review recorded time by task and project. Pomiq is built around your own work, rather than managing team permissions or dependencies.
Are estimated Pomodoros the same as hours worked?
No. Estimates help you plan capacity, including room for breaks. Reports use recorded session time. For payable work, a planned break does not count as time worked unless that break was actually recorded.
Do I need an account to try Pomiq?
No. You can start planning tasks and running focus sessions in your browser without an account. Sign in when you want to sync your work across devices or create live progress links. Private task attachments are not included in shared links.
