Founder story

I built Pomiq from years of freelance work.

I am Alexei Filatov, a freelancer and the founder of Pomiq. The product grew from a familiar problem: overlapping projects, deadlines in different places, time tracking in another app, and constant context switching.

A freelancer moving from scattered work toward a calm workflow with Pomiq.

Task managers helped me remember the work. Time trackers helped me understand the hours. Pomodoro helped me start. The problem was that managing all three tools became another job.

Pomiq brings those parts into one calm workflow: capture the task, place it in a project, estimate the focus, plan it across the week, then run the session. Reports show where the time actually went, while the tomato mascot makes progress feel personal rather than mechanical.

Pomiq is also designed for people with ADHD who need a clear way to choose one priority, start it in a short focus session, and return after a distraction without rebuilding the whole plan. It does not add pressure or pretend that every day will be perfectly consistent.

I am building Pomiq in public and writing about the decisions, mistakes, and freelance habits behind it. The goal is not to build another productivity suite. It is to help freelancers and people with ADHD organize their tasks, focus on what matters now, and finish it sooner.
